The Hills Are Alive invites music lovers out to the beer garden at Roughhouse Brewing, nestled between San Marcos and Wimberley, to enjoy a family and pet friendly night of music in a comfortable atmosphere under the stars. This series features local award-winning acts from the San Marcos Music Awards plus industry veterans with residencies at Austin's Saxon Pub and more.

Arrive early to find a spot under the oaks, order food from the Roughhouse Brewing kitchen, sip on a selection of craft beer/wine/NA beverages and get ready for the show! BYO chairs and blankets welcome, as picnic tables and adirondacks are expected to fill up quickly.

High Voltage Music Program 10th Anniversary Fundraiser

Rah! Rah! Room, 6322 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio

Join us on Sunday, March 8 at the Rah! Rah! Room for a special all-ages fundraiser celebrating 10 years of the High Voltage Music Program (HVMP) — a San Antonio nonprofit providing free instruments and music lessons to middle and high school students in underserved communities.

The event runs 2–8 PM and features local vendors, a fully backlined stage, and performances by HVMP students alongside established local bands. After a year of rehearsing in classrooms, students will have the chance to perform on a real stage — the way it should be.

Mitch Webb and the Swindles bring a dose of Southwest flavor with a 45-minute set at 5:00 PM, supporting a program that’s building the next generation of San Antonio musicians.

Mitch & The Swindles have been a staple in our music community in San Antonio for as long as we can remember. We are honored to be able host them under the Bridge for a special show !

Wear comfortable shoes for the walk down under the bridge, the path is a little bumpy.

bring a blanket to sit on and watch the show or a low small chair. We usually ask folks with chairs to stay towards the back row.

The show will start promptly at 6 pm! Don't be late!

Enter the bridge through the side yard of Tandem Coffeehouse - Tandem is our above river host and also sells snacks and drinks for you to enjoy during the show.

It’s always a good time out there—no cover, plenty of cold beer, and you never know who might jump on stage with us. Bring some friends, grab a stein, and let’s make it another night to remember. Prost!

Fresh off our run at Viva Big Bend, we’re rolling back into Austin for an early evening set at The ABGB on Sunday, August 3rd.

We’ll be firing up the full band at 4:00 PM, delivering our signature mix of Texas Garage, Conjunto, and Honky Tonk. Cold beer, wood-fired pizza, and that unbeatable ABGB vibe—what more could you ask for?

And if we’re lucky, the Austin Honky Tonkers will be out on the floor doing what they do best—turning a Sunday show into a full-on dancehall revival. Come grab a seat, raise a glass, and let’s wrap the weekend up right.

Karl Lubbering will be celebrating his birthday July 12th @ The Cove. The Sun People Art Fest will have multiple artists showing and selling their work. Proceeds from the sale will go to the Bread and Blankets Organization to aid the homeless. DJ Plata will be spinning some groovy tunes and there will be live music by The Karl Lubbering Trio, Los #3 Dinners, and Mitch Webb & Friends. We encourage everyone to bring donations such as blankets, clothes, canned food, feminine hygiene products, spiral notebooks & pens.

Mitch Webb and the Swindles at Ram Jam at the Corn Pound

The upcoming 20th Annual Ram Jam will celebrate the life of Ramiro "Ram" Ayala, late proprietor of the legendary Taco Land, a wild bar and venue that became a nexus of the San Antonio music underground until his 2005 murder.

The two-day festival, which runs this Saturday and Sunday, will bring together a roster of Taco Land acts, including reunions by no-wave blues outfit Boxcar Satan, pop-punk trio Lucy Loves Schroder, alt-rockers World Bizarre and noise-rockers Chapstik. Other bands on the lineup include Hickoids, Flamin' Hellcats, Michael Martin & The Infidels, Buttercup, Sexto Sol and more.

Music will run 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. both days at the Corn Pound music complex in Windcrest at 6336 Montgomery Drive. The event is free, but donations and sponsorships are accepted.

Catch them Saturday from 2:30 to 4:30 PM in the intimate backyard of the school, a perfect setting for an afternoon of great music and good company.

Set against the backdrop of one of San Antonio’s most cherished arts festivals, the UTSA Southwest Fiesta Arts Fair features over 100 artists showcasing fine art and handcrafted works. Enjoy live music, interactive art activities, and a vibrant festival atmosphere filled with creativity, culture, and community.

Admission Tickets are $20 for Adults (2-day entrance); $15 students (with valid ID) $5 for children ages 5-12 (per day), and free for children under 5 years of age, who are accompanied by an adult.
