Insiders Guide What You Should Know About Fiesta Arts Fair Fiesta Arts Fair is an annual, art-focused fundraising event that provides general operating support for Southwest School of Art; the only independent college of art in Texas. What began as a small art fair over 44 years ago, has since grown into one of the highlights of the Fiesta San Antonio®, with an annual attendance of approximately 12,000 people. The 2-day event takes place early in the Fiesta San Antonio season on the campus of Southwest School of Art and generates funds for the School through ticket sales and sponsorships. Fiesta Arts Fair showcases the contemporary art of more than 100 artists from across the United States and features works in a variety of media, including metal, ceramics, glass, painting, photography, textures and jewelry.

In addition to art, Fiesta Arts Fair patrons have access to a wide variety of foods, ranging from traditional favorites like gorditas and roasted corn, to flavorful concoctions like chocolate covered bacon and fried Oreos®. The event also features live music by local and regional performers.

Over the years, Fiesta Arts Fair has become known throughout San Antonio as one of the most family friendly Fiesta San Antonio® events of the year. One of its most popular attractions is the Young Artists Garden which provides a fun, festive opportunity for budding artists to learn, explore and express their creativity.

At the Gate: $15 adults (students $12 with valid ID); $5 daily for children ages 5-12, and free for children under 5 accompanied by adults. Adults can purchase advance tickets for $12 at the Southwest School of Art's McNutt Welcome Center or on our website.

Admission and coupon booths accept cash only. Coupons are required for the purchase of food, beverages and children's activities. For your convenience an ATM is located near the main entrance.
